With video increasingly becoming the centre of everyday communications, the KeyMission action cameras build on Nikon’s technical excellence in optical and image-processing technologies. The ability of the flagship KeyMission 360 to capture seamless 360° video in 4K UHD format will change the way people capture and share their experiences forever.
The KeyMission 170, which is shockproof and waterproof, captures dynamic 170° wide-angle 4K UHD videos and vivid images. With intuitive interfaces and simple controls, even first-time action camera users can record adventures effortlessly. Versatile shooting modes like Add Slow Motion, Superlapse Movie and Time-lapse Movie are available for creating dramatic scenes for any adventure.
The ultra-slim KeyMission 80 is a tough wearable camera designed for quick shooting of stills and movies, enabling users to record every moment of their experiences as it happens. Featuring an exclusively designed small NIKKOR lens, this compact camera enables capture of high quality images. It is equipped with a second camera with 4.9 million effective pixels and a LCD monitor for easy selfies.
In addition, the SnapBridge 360/170 app is exclusive to KeyMission 360 and KeyMission 170, which enables camera remote shooting and movie editing, while KeyMission 80 supports the SnapBridge app. Both SnapBridge apps allow the camera to be constantly connected to a smart device, providing a convenient and automatic transfer of photos from the action camera to the smart device.
Simultaneously, Nikon has introduced a wide range of optional mounts and accessories made to push the limit of the cameras across diverse activities. For hands-free shooting, Vented Handy Grip is also available to prevent the user’s body from being caught in the frame during handheld shooting. These versatile mounts and accessories will allow the camera to follow the toughest roads and scale the highest peaks.
“With two new additions to Nikon’s Action category, we’re excited to expand photographic possibilities for our users and enable them to capture their adventures. Now no matter the environment, our users can share and refine their adventures in immersive detail to re-live or share with family and friends,” said James Murray, Director of Sales & Marketing, Nikon Australia.
“The new KeyMission range features the standout optical and imaging innovation Nikon is known for and combines this with seamless smart device connectivity and an adventure-ready construction, to ensure that consumers can document and share their pursuits no matter where they are.”
